Cracks in your walls or ceiling may only seem cosmetic, but this doesn’t mean you should put off getting them fixed. Ignoring these cracks may cause them to spread, resulting in a more expensive repair. If ignored for a long enough time, it can even cause your ceiling drywall to fall down. Cracks usually occur when your drywall seams separate, causing the tape securing them to come loose. We can re-secure or re-tape your drywall seams to ensure nothing falls down. Depending on the severity of the cracking, we might recommend re-securing or replacing your entire ceiling to avoid future problems.

Garages, patios & porches are areas that aren’t kept air conditioned like the inside of your home. Your furnace not only heats your home, but also removes humidity as well. These other areas are exposed to humidity and sometimes even the outdoor elements. Over time the humidity can cause drywall boards in the ceiling to start sagging or the seam tape to fall down. Some homes were built using nails, instead of screws, to secure the drywall in the ceiling. With the extra weight from the humidity, the boards can start to slip off the nails. This is a repair that you do not want to put off as it often results in drywall falling from your ceiling.

We can repair your small hole or your entire ceiling before it causes any damage. We offer a range of services that will make your ceiling look great.

  • Re-secure the ceiling drywall boards
  • Re-seam the ceiling drywall boards
  • Apply stain killer and paint ceiling

Flood Damage

After major water damage situations, such as those that result from storms, flooding, or burst pipes in a home, it may be necessary to dry wall cavities and other small spaces as part of the total restoration effort. When placing air movers and dehumidifiers close to the wall surface is proving ineffective, restoration professionals must drill holes into the surface to help speed evaporation.

Trapped moisture within a wall cavity can lead to the growth of mold, mildew, and bacteria, not to mention compromise structural integrity. This is known as secondary damage. Microbial growth will occur on the paper surface of gypsum wallboard if allowed to remain wet for extended periods of time. In most cases, this form of damage requires the removal of the affected material. In that case, you’ll need to have a us remove the drywall in your house after a flood. Once the damaged drywall is removed and the entire structure dried, we can replace it with fresh drywall, which we can paint to match the rest of your space.
